Facade work

The outer walls of the building should be constantly looked after. To maintain a decent appearance it must be regularly washed and cleaned, every few years to make cosmetic repairs, and sometimes overhauled. Facade works are performed by professional industrial climbers of the company at low cost.

Fixing cracks

With time cracks appear in any walls. They spoil the appearance of the facade, moisture penetrates into the walls, the waterproofing and thermal insulation of the building deteriorates. Insulation of a building supposes caulking of cracks in a mandatory manner. In addition, as cracks deepen, concrete and brickwork are destroyed, which leads to an emergency condition of the building. Caulking is a necessary service both in restoration of the building and in its cosmetic repair. Caulking of cracks is made with special strengthening means, which provide shrinkage-free filling of voids and cavities with the repair compound, taking into consideration the material of the wall to ensure necessary and sufficient adhesion. If the damage is considerable, the brick wall is partially dismantled and new masonry is laid to replace the lost fragment. If the wall is concrete, the sealing of cracks is made by means of the wall expansion method, and in many other cases - by injecting sealant.
Plastering
Finishing with plaster is a process that requires a skilled approach and compliance with a number of conditions.
These are:
  1. The necessary cleanliness of the surface for the application of plaster;
  2. temperature and humidity;
  3. the materials used, depending on the above conditions, as well as the type of surface and even the angles of the façade elements.
Prices for facade operations depend on the quality of finishing materials and working conditions.

Facade painting

Facade painting is necessary to protect the facade from destructive influence of weather phenomena and biological factors.

Before painting, facade washing and cleaning are obligatory. Their performance depends on the wall material. Old paint is removed with brushes and spatulas, plaster is removed with the chipping method. Sand-blasting cleaning of the facade is possible.

Then the surface is prepared for coloring: leveling, degreasing, impregnation. The final stage of preparation is priming.

And only then proceed to painting. The work is carried out with different types of paints: silicone, acrylic and silicate.

Hydrophobization

This is a coating of the wall with special solutions which makes the wall water-repellent. At the same time the air permeability is maintained. Hydrophobization is possible on its own, but can also be an integral part of the facade waterproofing. If the surface is treated in time, it prevents the formation of efflorescence.

Waterproofing

This type of work ensures that the structure is completely impermeable to water. Surfaces must be cleaned and degreased before waterproofing. For waterproofing usually use a special expanding cement, which fills all the pores in the stone. This requires special equipment. In addition to coating the material itself with a hydrophobic substance, sealing of interpanel joints is also carried out.

Insulation

It is possible to insulate facade surfaces with plaster, well masonry or the installation of a ventilated facade.
If insulation will be made by plastering, the surface must first be prepared for this: remove old plaster, mold, mildew, then dry and apply a primer. You can insulate with light plaster systems, and you can use heavy plaster systems.

The difference lies in the technology of high-rise facade work, and the rates and results are usually similar.

Cleaning walls from efflorescence

Elevations are white salt deposits on the surface of masonry or concrete walls. The efflorescence is the result of a chemical reaction between the salts inside the material and water. The result is a whitish salt residue on the wall. Salts not only spoil the appearance of the building, but also the material itself: they expand, unclog pores, reduce the thermal insulation and waterproofing of the building.
You can not simply wash the wall with water and a brush, such unprofessional treatment will worsen the damage to the wall. Scaling is removed with special modern compounds, which effectively dissolve salts and do not damage bricks and plaster. You can also order the work with us.Specialists will perform the facade operation quickly and efficiently. We can cope even with complex work to remove large amounts of efflorescence.
